Sodium tripolisfosfat (STPP) is the most produced one among all phosphate salts. Monosodium phosphate and disodium phoshpate are heated in a controlled method at 500-600 °C in stoichiometric proportions. STPP is being used as strengthener in detergents, soaps and tooth pastes, in production of ceramics, preserving seafood, meat and poultry products, house cleaning.
